Using IPod with Stock 2004 360 Becker Stereo
Hey gang, I received my 360 Saturday. Thanks to those that have helped me with the buying process (especially Stu and Carl). Anyway, I am an Ipod junkie, and I was hoping to hook mine up to the 360 without doing any major mods or spending a ton of cash. I see my options as follows:
1. FM transmitter, which I want to avoid because I live near Chicago and there is always interference. Also sound quality is lacking.
2. Burning playlists on CD's and using changer. On that front, does anyone know if the stock Becker will play MP3 cd's? If not, I will be limited to 20 songs per disc, which will stink (even multiplied by 6).
3. Using the Becker Ipod interface and hooking it up to the changer slot in the back of the radio (as opposed to the hookup in the trunk, which seems like a useless place to do it). Please let me know if this will even work, and if so, are there any risks to the electrical system.
I know I will want to hear just the engine for the first few weeks, but I want to be ready once I want to enjoy some driving music.
