Hello all
New to this site. Interested in a 360 and would like to learn the pros and cons of the Euro vs US models. A local F_dealer practically took my head off when I mentioned Euro..saying expensive to fix, won't work on them, less resale value, etc...What's up with this???Seem to be many for sale

There is little difference bet a US and Euro model. In fact the Euro model is actually lighter than the US model. Dealers don't sell Euro models and will discourage the purchase bacause they make no $ on the sale.

If the cars have proper certification it's no problem.

They do command less $ in a sale, but if you plan on keeping the car it does not matter.

Every Ferrari independent mechanic will work on them.

The noticeable physical difference is the rear bumper since it's made of a wider and less high license plate.

Euro's also generally do not have Xenon head lights.

What is important is that all the services are up to date and that all the Ferrari campaign programs have been done especially if it's a 99 or early 2000. There was a necessary variator campaign for the driven timing cams that was not offered to Euro holders. You had to pay for it but w/o having it done it could be an engine disaster.

Other than that not much else.

Welcome to the site.

Per Gcalo's comments, as long as the Euro 360 has the proper DOT & EPA releases, you should be fine. If you are not sure, contact Dick Merrit at the DOT in Washington DC with the cars VIN.
