Connecticut did not for about 20 years and then decided to go back. No idea why.

Levi

It's not the chassis number requested but the VIN.

Look at the top of your steering column and it will be there in large #'s & letters.

Couldn't choose a pic so here's all of them, and some more here taken by someone else

PS. I'm reuploading them now, they've been downsized to make it easier on our primitive internet connections

Original UK car ?

On the chassis number, it will be in the front of your service book

I can't edit my post so i'll post a new one

Chassis #: ZFFYR51C000117870

As far as I know, and from the old paperwork, it is an original uk car, no LHD/RHD conversion done, dashboard units all in imperial units (can be a pain when you're doing 140mph and you're trying to read the tiny kph number).

The roads here are generally bad in terms of surfacing.
Many potholes and the ones that are fixed are not really fixed, they just fill them up.
The best of roads are generally the highways, but even there i wouldn't say they're completely smooth. Too much unevenness.

But there are some nice roads to drive on in terms of the 'layout'; i can't find the word i'm looking for. But i'm sure you know what I mean

Sounds a lot like many of the country roads in Spain and Portugal. Great to drive but they tend to be poorly maintained/surfaced in areas so you need to be very careful.

The country roads in France and Germany tend to be better maintained. The UK however is another situation. Many are in a very poor state of repair.
