Hi Boxer,

I always had a love for automobiles. Ferrari kind of represented an icon that was "out of reach" or unattainable. I was put off a bit by the rumored high maintenance costs of the older models, etc. I remember a few years back when I was on holiday in Rome I spotted a 360 Spider parked by the Spanish Steps. It was love at first sight. These cars are really like rolling sculpture. I've been through many BMWs ( I owned 6 of the 8 series cars), Jaguar (trying to forget that one), and Audi (great cars) but Ferrari brings out a visceral response that none other can match. It might be that I am of Italian heritage but I think its more because I appreciate the form matching the function of the automobile. I looked for months for the car I currently own and am really happy with it. I will be taking delivery of a 458 Italia in April 2013 and can't wait. I'm new to this forum and appreciate you contacting me. Thomas

Current: 2001 Ferrari 550 Maranello Argento/Black
2017 Audi R8 Daytona Grey/Vermont Brown
2016 Porsche Spyder Black/Black
1957 Speedster Pewter/Saddle

Welcome to FLife. Your experience is not to dis-similar. I have been through a number of BMW, Jaguars, and Audis as well.

There really is something special about seeing a Ferrari in Rome.

Hope you don't mind but a copy of your post has been added to the other thread.

Welcome Hi Boxer, Rome is wonderful plus if you could hear a Ferrari runs in the street of Rome it echos through the building around it with the small streets that they have.

Matt- Very pretty 360. Those are some big, honking 20" (I assume) wheels on your car.

Thanks guys.

The wheels are ADV1 5.2.1 SLs - 19" on the front/ 20" on the rear. The front end is Novitec; the car has been lowered to C/S spec and it has the C/S side skirts so it might give the impression that the wheels are bigger than they are. I couldnt be more pleased with the results.

Overall the car has lots of Carbon goodies on it and some other tasteful upgrades.

Nathan- Very pretty 360 and those F430 wheels really look good on her. Always wanted a garage where every car in it could have all their doors open without touching. Looks like you managed that pretty well.

Same her Taz! This page shows two amazing garage images. I'd give up the width to free my toys from the lawn and snow equipment just waiting to bite into some metal or fiberglass.

Nathan, is that a Chevy sign between the two? I'm thinking there may be a lot more with a wider photo lens . . . do share.
