F430 resonance at ~2500rpm when cold

I recently bought an used F430 F1 Coupe. It's brilliant, but wanted to know if this is a feature or a problem:

When the engine is cold, there's a fairly strong resonance/rattle at around 2450-2550 rpm, regardless of the gear you are in.

The car has a standard exhaust and the exhaust fastening bolts have been checked to be OK by the dealer. I have been told it's because of the rigid frame of the car, but wanted to hear if anyone else has a similar experience with their F430.

Other than that the engine sounds perfect, but this makes it sound like one guy in the orchestra doesn't play according to the notes...

Never heard this before. Been around plenty of 430s and never noticed any odd change in exhaust note as the rpms are heading north.

I would go back and check all the bolts again.

Don't know too much about 430's but maybe is not the exhaust but heatshields that may resonate.
good luck
