That looks fantastic! Bad @$$ is spot on!!

Are you going to keep the livery or have you got your own racing colours in mind?

I am not sure what I am going to do yet.

I like the base silver but might move to more conventional "go fast" stripping.

Fantastic car Boxer. Although I am concerned that it looks like Pete might have done a bit of private work, outside of the Royal A&P Enterprise agreement on the decals.

Let us know if you are going to track/race it in the UK, we'll try to organise a fan club for you.

I agree Silver is a good base, it is different. I like the red door mirrors - here's a suggestion - Red (F50), Blue (360) and Red (F40) stripes slightly offset to right/left of centre

Its a blank canvas - maybe you should hold a competition on the forum for the most original idea!

I really like the first idea, not so keen on the second. I have seen the ideas Royal A&P has sold to the general public.

This is the track only car right? Not the CS? Do you plan to race it? If so how much will it cost me to get a sticker on the car?

This is the track only version. I do not plan to race it this year. If all goes well I hope to do so next.

My advertising rates for the currently identified prospects are:

- FerrariLife $0
- Royal A&P $1 mil (for lower rear bumper)
- Alsa Automotive GBP 1

Sounds like a bargain, if we can persuade Pete to remortgage his house and sell his ship we've got a deal

Nice Car! I thought you weren't into paddle shifters though?

On a road car, I am not into paddles. The 360 Challenge is track only and only comes with the F1 transmission. On the track it does work brilliantly.

Thanks. It took a while, but I did go for the sensible alternative. Especially vs something like:

Lancia LC2 Ferrari Tipo Race car
Oakfields

colourMartini Liveryinterior colourcompositedriveLHDtypeotheryear1983price299.950 GBPVATNoLancia Ferrari Tippo LC2 / 83-86

Chassis No 007

1983 saw Lancia and Ferrari produce the LC2 race car fitted with a 2.6 ltr twin turbo charged unit with a max out put of some 950 bhp at full boost. The engines origin being the famous 288 GTO.

The works Lancia Ferraris then joined up with “Martini” by then world famous for their endurance racing. The 1983 season saw them run at Monza, Silverstone, Le Mans, and Spa before finally clutching victory at Imola. This initial win was followed by a brace of 2nd positions at both Mojello and Kylami.

1984 saw the cars compete in the full championship and managed to achieve 3rd at Monza and a 4th at Silverstone, they qualified 1st and 2nd for Le Man and lead for the majority of the 24hr race finally finishing 6th and 7th, this was followed by a 3rd at the Nurburgring and a spectacular one two at Kylami

1985 was full of promise with a pole at Monza were they took a third place and le man were both cas finished followed by a win at Spa. The years total was three thirds one win and five poles.

1986 was the final year for the LC2s Lancia and Martini deciding to go their separate ways.

Chassis No 007 was originally built for the 1983 season and ran as a full Lancia works first team car for three seasons 1983, 84 and 85 upgraded each season it raced until being sold by the Martini team at the end of the 1986 season.

It remained in Europe with a well know collector were it continued to compete, until it was sold to a Japanese client, used only once in Japan it returned to Europe where it ran at Spa Le mans and Monza under the historic Grp c regulations.

The engine was re built in 2003 and dyno tested at 864 HP the transmission was rebuilt in 2004
