Smart eMT Relay ECU V3.2 - Pump Off Mode

https://www.scuding.com/Shop/en/ecu-...relay-ecu.html

With the new firmware V3.2, the Smart eMT Relay ECU can now be set in "Pump Off" Mode. This mode disables the automated transmission hydraulic pump and all TCU pump requests will be ignored.

To be used essentially for maintenance purposes but can also be used as an efficient immobilizer system because it won't be possible anymore to start the engine!

Do your supercar a favor and install the Plug & Play Smart eMT F1 Relay ECU as shown on this Ferrari 430 Scuderia.

We're happy to receive many great feedback from our customers like these and even more than happy to see that this invention makes our cars well more reliable:

Ferrari 360:"I recently purchased the basic F1 relay for my 2004 360. The car shifts amazing and I noticed no issues."

Ferrari F430:"The car shifts really smooth now after I installed it. It feels quicker in response too. Am not sure if its really the case or purely cos its smoother. Regardless, great stuff !"

Audi R8 V8:"I think every car on the planet with a hydraulically controlled automated manual transmission should have one of these!! Awesome piece of kit!! Since I installed the Smart Relay I have had no hydraulic pressure issues."

Ferrari F430:" fitted the Scuding relay to my 2007 F430 and it definitely improved both smoothness and shift times, I kept the scuding digital switch when I sold the car and returned to original no problems, and immediately noticed the slightly clunky shift of the standard relay, I subsequently ended up with another 2008 F430, exactly the same result, my conclusion, the scuding relay genuinely works and is quicker. I did have a go of a 430 Scuderia which was quicker still, but I reckon an F430 with the Scuding switch is somewhere between the Standard car and an 430 Scuderia...if I had another F430, would fit it again in a heartbeat....or maybe less.....in addition it got rid of that annoying click behind the passenger seat (RHD car) every time I switched gear....that in itself was worth it....."

I am looking to purchase this smart F1 relay later tonight. From what I can gather if I want any indication of "advance warnings" to F1 issues, I should be getting the Advanced version (instead of the basic). Is that correct?

Yes, that's totally correct, only the Advanced version comes with the Monitoring Module which will Early Warn you of any upcoming hydraulic issues on the F1/E-DIFF system.
Many thanks.

This French 430 Challenge race car is also equipped with our Smart eMT F1 Relay ECU - Advanced 3. Track tests proved that the hydraulic system ran in a much more efficient way offering constantly full hydraulic pressure to the gearbox actuator. As a result, gear shifts were crispier, without any hesitation and slamming in at full hydraulic pressure. Such car requires many fast gear shifts to be made on track and needs the hydraulic pressure to be constantly at maximum level.

With the Smart eMT F1 Relay ECU - Advanced 3, pumping up the hydraulic pressure from 42 to 52 bar is done in only 1.5 seconds and is even able to anticipate it before the TCU does!

The Smart eMT F1 Relay ECU has also been installed on several Ferrari 575M. This photo is from an Australian owner. The eMT ECU fits perfectly well in the area nearby the TCU.

Owner noticed immediately that the pump runs now for a shorter time after the installation of the eMT ECU and feels relieved that there is now no risk of the pump burning out due to a stuck relay.

To reassure those who read the BS on the other forum that the Smart eMT F1 Relay ECU heats which would compromise its longevity, I confirm that this device can deliver instantly and constantly up to 250A without heating even one single degree Celsius. We, as engineers with more than 25 years experience, know what we designing.

Our device will last forever and already several thousand of them have been installed without one single failure or a missed pump activation. That's several millions of pump activations currently running They are installed also on race cars with great success (Challenge, GT, R8, M3 CSL, etc).

Thanks for continuing to trust the Smart eMT F1 Relay ECU which is an immense and essential improvement of our supercars.

A nice and clean installation of the Smart eMT ECU being made on a Ferrari 599 GTO by BS Auto Classic. For much greater reliability, improved performances and anticipation of possible F1 problems, the Smart eMT ECU in replacement of the F1 pump relay is a real asset for supercars.

Installed on a Ferrari 599 of a very friendly owner of Moscow who kindly shared his photos:

- 2 X FULL LED DARKER REAR LIGHT CLUSTERS
- SMART EMT F1 RELAY ECU

The Smart eMT F1 Relay ECU, as replacement of the F1 pump relay, will greatly improve the hydraulic system while preserving it from costly breakages in the event of a hydraulic failure, thanks to the Early Warning System.

Smart eMT F1 Relay ECU installed on a Ferrari F430 by a USA owner who kindly shared his photo.

The Smart eMT F1 Relay ECU, as a Plug & Play replacement of the F1 pump relay, will greatly improve the hydraulic system while preserving it from costly breakages in the event of a hydraulic failure, thanks to the Early Warning System.

This is also particularly true for the E-DIFF. Many F430s have a failing or worn E-DIFF solenoid valve but nothing tells you that which will cause the hydraulic system to be overused until complete breakage. Fortunately, the Smart eMT F1 Relay ECU will warn you immediately in the event of a failing E-DIFF valve.
