Location of suspension ECU

I have a suspension fault on the dash I've been living with for a while. There has been no degradation in the driving ability of the car but it has been a nuisance not being able to have my clock displayed. I've had two SD downloads done, one by an inde shop and one from Ferrari Palm Beach. Each download read different. One for a right front shock and the other for a left front. I have cleaned the connectors going into the shocks but would like to find the ECU so I can check the harness and connector. The owner's manual diagram is vague as is the diagram from Ricambi. If anyone has a photo of its location, that would help immensely.

From the WSM....

Following replacement of a system component or a connecting cable, a system check cycle must be performed.
Electronic control unit for shock absorber damping
The ECU has one section of its memory allocated to the diagnosis of the operation of the shock absorber
damping check system ( F 4.01) and is designed to be linked up to the tester SD-3.
It is located in the passenger compartment, under the dashboard, and is fastened to the chassis on the left-hand
side of the evaporator unit.

• To remove it, the connector (A) must be detached and the two nuts (1) fastening it to the supporting bracket
must be unscrewed.
For connection to the system, see - ELECTRICAL SYSTEM.
