Brake pad sensor lead

Hi all i've had an annual service done and noticed a few advisories.
There are many items but want to deal with them one at a time.
The wire which connects to the hub on the n/s/f has snapped off.
I tried to trace the wire to a connector on the chassis but it disappears into the bulk head.
Thought i could splice a new socket but thought id ask if anyone knows what to do.
Many thanks.

If you're talking about the wire that is bolted to the hub with a ring terminal, then they snap all the time. This wire, along with the one that connects to the actual wear sensor, goes into a protective sheath which then goes inside the car. I just strip back the sheath a little to expose the wire and then crimp on a new bit of wire with a new ring terminal.
