I'm most of the time on the wrong side of the currency fence but in this case it's mostly positive for me. Looking back to 1970 the exchange was 1 to 1 between Swedish kronor and Swiss francs, now it's 9 Swedish kronor to 1 Swiss francs. When I closed the Swiss "branch" 9 years ago it was 6 to 1. I guess Sweden have and had the administration that Sweden deserves. Rgds///Thomas (Bis spöter to the Swiss)
I have Euro and was about to change to CHF last week, but forgot Life suddenly just got more expensive for me here in CH. I guess I'll have to do all my daily purchases over in Italy to try and compensate. Well, it's life...
The bad news: Time flies
The good news: I'm the pilot
You cannot make life longer but you can make it wider and higher.
We call (f/x traders) the market rallies in this period of year Santa Rally. And it is a good opportunity to start a new year with a easy money (in terms of profit making).
But this year Mr Jordan (head of SNB) did not let it be!!!
A few investment banks and f/x platforms lost a chunky amount of money. Lol I am not upset for them, they were saying that it is much more easy and cheap to establish a platform compared to hire a trading team.
But strong CHF will be favour of Swiss residents earning CHF if they are planning to buy a good, service or CAR from EU or US, now they have to pay less CHF!
Enjoy it... Londoners enjoyed it in last 5 years
