HELP:spider hood warning buzzer

Dear All after one whole year of struggling with the hood ....(if you have seen my previous story regarding issue of hood operation....) it is now operational....however when it is fully open now the warning buzzer plus the warning sign just wont go away. My mechanic has given up and I am totally fed up as well. I am not going to pursue any further as it is mentally torturing .... So I figure disconnecting the buzzer is the fastest solution. Can anyone guide me if disconnecting the thing is a DIY job, any diagram etc i can locate from the web.

Please have mercy and help me out.................

You can download a workshop manual for free from ferraridatabase.com. Here are the Spider wiring diagrams.

Thanks Taz for your info.

Apparently there is a temporary solution to it. Start the engine then open the top, turn off car and restart. Supposedly clear the memory and the warning light and buzzer goes away. To clue the problem the control unit needs to be replace.

Anyhow at least it works for the time being...............
