That sound really good. Is this the first X-pipe with valves, don't think I have seen that before.

Yes indeed Alwin, I noticed that myself yesterday, strange that it took such along time to use the same X pipe concept as it makes such a great sound but its been around for years. For many Kreissieg are out of budget though as they are crazily expensive. Also odd that many car manufacturers are not using such valved x- pipe systems with a silencer or small silencers as OEM, it seems its the answer to the Speciale's sound problems too.

I guess because car manufacturers have a whole bunch of industry, safety and emission regulations they have to abide by, that aftermarket tuners obviously are not regulated by.

Aftermarket tuners are out to get performance at whatever cost while manufacturers have to constantly play that balancing act of compliance, safety and mass-manufacturing efficiencies.

To be honest, if you don't floor the car, the non-valved stuff sounds pretty stock. I never floor it on my approach home, so as not to piss off my neighbors and it's been "manageable" so far albeit the cold starts in the morning

But weight wise I'm sure the system on Alwin's Scud wins hands down. I wonder if the guys at S Line can make one out of Ti?

OK some good news it looks like Felix at Kline Innovation is willing to whip up a similar example of his own design at a very reasonable price, where in all cases the gases flow through the X-Pipe, whether the valves are open or not

Its all about the X Pipe, one just needs to add valves and the sound wizard arrives

My SCUD/16M system will be a derivative of this F430 Xpipe setup with valves, I am sending over my OEM SCUD exhaust to ensure the dimensions are exact
