Scuderia - Question Stefvan/Johan etc

Guys quick question, I am now thinking of keeping my SCUD afterall, concluding that my F430 Spider with Fuchs Tailspipes sounds so EPIC (with Capristo Headers) partly due to the length of the tailpipes. (note the CS doesn't have massively shortened tailpipes like a SCUD or Speciale). So with the SCUD I'm thinking of putting on some Fuchs F430 tailpipes. Now my first question is can I use my SCUD carbon rear engine grill with the OEM challenge F430 (Carbon Rear Grill) lower Bumper/Fender or would I have to buy a F430 challenge Carbon rear engine grill as well. (I would obviously keep my SCUD existing SCUD parts) ?????

Hi Richard,
I was impressed when I saw your Fuchs tailpipes in real live! Before going into expensive body parts, maybe you can try to install them temporary on your Scud and check if you'll get the same sound quality? I believe that the Scud CF grill should match the lower body part because the first CF challenge grill I had on my F430 was a Scud one. It was a perfect match with the body parts but was missing only some internal brackets used in the F430 curved LHS and RHS panels (which I removed anyway).

Yes good idea Stefvan a winter project ! wonder if the diffuser is the same too ? I know the Scud Cats are different but the muffler/silencer is the same as I have already interchanged between my F430 and SCUD so what bolts below should also work

I'm afraid that the diffuser is different between the F430 and Scud because the Scud diffuser has 2 additional side grills. Good winter job Richard!

I know the Scud diffuser has the 2 extra mesh vents and the design is different but have a suspicion that the size template may actually be the same. Need to measure them up. Where did you order your lower rear bumper from Stefvan please ?

You're right Richard, I'm pretty much sure it would fit. Maybe the side brackets are located differently, something you can check between your Scud and F430. I ordered the lower rear bumper part directly from a Swiss Ferrari dealer + paint work done in a good paint shop.

Richard, the F430 lower rear bumper is part #83111810

BTW, F430 CF rear part is #69579600 (Scud is #80869800), and the mesh is #69569100 (Scud is #80635500)

Be super careful with Super Tweaks...I had serious issues with them in the past when I ordered a simple CF "Front lip". After 2 months, I still didn't receive anything and had to fight hard to get paid back...I had the strong feeling that their products are not manufactured in UK but far away...which explains their cheap prices and huge delays.
