Strategy to find the exact 430 your looking to buy

Hi guys. I'm in the market for another 430. I had an 07 F1 in Rosso and was not happy with F1. I sold it and went back to a Maserati GranTurismo S which I love (I'm on my 3rd one). However I miss the 430 and want both. So I'm on the hunt for a very specific car and I do not want to settle. For the last 6 months I have been looking for a yellow six speed coupe with challenge wheels, carbon ceramics, yellow calipers, and black interior with contrasting yellow stitching. After searching ebay, cars.com, autotrader, globalautosports, dupont, drivingemotions, marshall goldman, catsexotics, googling random Ferrari dealers to search their inventory and spending countless hours of searching I haven't come close to finding what I want.

Does this car exist and if it does how do I find it other than what I'm already doing. Looking for suggestions on how others have found the exact car they are looking for. Thanks!

Matt,
I took me a year to find my Spider and I didn't have quite as many requirements as you (red, stick, shields, Daytona seats). I finally settled for three of the four.

In engineering, we have an analogy about the "Yellow Volkswagen." While there were millions made, the more requirements stated, I.e. Yellow, 1967, every option available, etc, the lower the probability of encountering one.

So, while there were thousands of 430 coupes made, there are probably very few with the exact specs you list. I suggest lookIng for a yellow coupe with stick. That should be much easier (and quicker) to find. All the other items could be added. Although I admit, the CF brakes would be an expensive addition.

Good luck with the seach!

Of all the narcissists I know, I love me the most.

Something close will appear may want to contact some brokers they know where the cars are hidden - most of all be ready to wire.

I can't find a stick coupe in yellow even forgetting the other things.

If this car were a stick I would absolutely settle for the tan interior.
