360 Check OK on dash now shows X

Ok the battery was low, the tender was somehow unplugged now I have an X were the Check OK should be on the dash?

This is not in the owner’s manual and according to Ferrari it is rare, looks like the dash or one of the ECU’s is confused and doesn’t know what country it is in???? Anybody ever had this happen? The car is fine and Ferrari has said it is not a problem that will affect the car in any way. I’ll take a picture tomorrow to show the X on the dash.

Apparently this can also happen on 430 also.

Your instrument panel ECU need to be reconfigured with a SDX as it lost part or all of his settings. If you have a F1, it's quite important to consider doing this ASAP

Make a search on other forums, it is not so rare!
Most of the time it appears after switch-on with a low battery. The content of an EEPROM in the dash is corrupted and this is detected by dash S/W.
Ferrari should be able to reconfigure it with their SD2/3.

This can happen in 360, 430, 575 with same Digitek dash.

Nothing showed up on the SDX today relating to the dash only a gearbox RPM error and a Cat error that cleared after reset?

Because it would not be a good idea if your instrument panel lost the information that your car is a F1 and not a manual

It drives fine, Ferrari Italy says it will not do any damage or change what itís doing now that it has full power again. I don't like it anyway and will get it fixed before I drive it again.

Key to this is make sure the tender is used all the time, anything under 12V will give you grief and itís just not worth it.

When I first got my 360 I inadvertently left the interior light on overnight. Went to start it the next day and as soon as I turned on the ignition all hell broke loose with warning lights flashing. I panicked until I posted on the forum and was told it was due to a low battery -- Ferrari electrical gremlins struck. Fortunately nothing was messed up and with a brand new battery installed I was back to normal. I now keep a tender on all the time it's in the garage.
