Oily Residue on the Instrument Panel

Hello,
I am going through CPO on a F430 and the dashboard gauges have a residue, please see pic. The service advisor at Ferrari of Salt Lake City says it may be from the heat of summer that caused the plastic to sweat. I donít believe it but neither he nor I are plastics experts.
Does anyone know what it is or the cause?
Thank you.

Welcome to FerrariLife I had the exact same problem when I bought my F430. Since it was fixed, it never came back. I don't know the origin of these stains but it had an oily feel.

Common to the F430 I'm afraid. Mine has also has the same issue, as do lots of other cars. Another example of the quality Ferrari plastics....

BTW: bought my first Prancing Horse from Ferrari of Salt Lake City. I really recommend this dealership! Thank you Alan James, Sean Harris, & Craig Lambourne for making the transaction easy and answering my naive newbie questions.
If you are looking to purchase a new or used Ferrari or Maserati or other exotic I would give Alan a call- 801 521-0340.
