Looking for Pics of the Spider from 2000 Car Shows
 
Hi, I'm looking for Pics of the 360 Spider Ferrari used at north American car shows back in 2000 to introduce the model in the USA. Google doesn't seem to be turning anything up so any leads on where I might find archived pics from the major car shows would be most appreciated. I'm asking bc I have a NA spec (and VIN) Spider from 2000 that a buddy is guessing is the one NA spec car they built in 2000 so they didn't have to fuss with special import exemptions and export confirmations, etc. when bringing a car in for the show circuit. This is just a hypothesis. No idea if that's what happened or not, thought it does make sense. No big deal, but would be fun to be able to confirm the odd ball nature of the VIN. I'd also be curious if anyone has any other suggestions to explain a NA spec car and VIN from 2000. Tks in advance!

I've already had the VIN decoded by the local dealership. its a 2000 NA/USA spec 360 Spider F1. Working on the VIN in the VIN forum. Looking for pointers on where to find pics of Ferrari's car show cars here! Any leads for the year 2000 would be much appreciated!

BTW: the local dealer says its definitely a valid VIN and 2000 NA/USA spec car, but I wasn't able to find anyone there that could tell me the how or why such a VIN/car exists. Was hoping to find some leads here. Tks!

In my original post I apparently wasn't using the correct full description. There are apparently NA spec cars with a check digit of 0 for markets other than the USA, like apparently one or two early cars that went to Argentina. Mine is definitely a USA car as it has the correct check digit. Here's the VIN... ZFFYT53A3Y0122392. Via my other post I've learned that the lowest non-USA NA spec car known is ZFFYT53A0Y0122379 from Argentina, and the lowest USA spec car known is ZFFYT53A210122583, so it is still possible that this is USA SN#1?? Would love to see pics of what the Spider looked like at USA car shows when it was introduced in 2000!
