In fact even mounting spacers would look good for OEM mirrors to make them wider

Google Esta International. Look under ferrari 360 NGT. They have these neat looking wing mirrors. Trouble is I'm not certain if they are foldable. Quite a few sites stock em but non foldable.

They are different.

I have some of these in my garage which came in a job lot of Michelotto parts that I bought an a moment of weakness. Worth mentioning that they don't have the mirror triangle to fit them to the door, they just simply bolt straight into the door which makes me believe the may only actually fit the pure CF doors. Never really checked that much. I'll take a few photo's tomorrow...

As promised some pics of my F430GT3 CF 'Kessel Racing' Mirrors. You can clearly see the missing 'triangle' that I described...

Weight: 398g each

Length is a bit difficult to measure because of the shape. They come out from the car at a swept back angle so the distance from the car door to the end point of the mirror is 32cm while the actual length of the mirror itself is +6cm bigger from tip to tip at 38cm. Clearance from the car door is therefore 32cm (approx).

Hope this helps. As far as I am aware nobody sells clones of this style anywhere in the world so you'd need to be prepared to dig deep to buy them genuine items I am afraid. Best bet is to contact Kessel Racing directly.

No, I'm happy with the look (and weight) as it is.

The only thing I'd consider now are not cosmetics but *big* ticket items such as radically re-engineering the car to accommodate more power, either using an Scud engine (tuned) or my favorite idea, an Enzo V12 (i.e. the engine and box out of a 599) relocated further back into a heavily modified F131 chassis.

Ok.....now thats a REAL project! A Scud engine wouldn't exactly be a step forward for mankind....but an enzo v12 in a 360 frame, that definitely goes down into the record book.

Trev- One of the Enzo mules was built on a stretched 348 chassis, so should be possible. On an F131 Chassis, should be able to avoid the dachshund look.

Clearance from car door with OEM is circa 26cm, so they are wider, if only there was an easy way to fit them

Yes, I remember those photos

... I actually took a very good friend of mine out yesterday (who's now an Aston owner) but used to own a flappy paddle 360. He hadn't been in my car for a few years now and he was absolutely astonished at the performance difference. When I hinted at changing for a V12 he was dead against it, saying the car was 'perfect' right now and just amazing.
