Just sold the best car I've ever owned (GT3 RS) whose status is soon to become the second best car I've ever owned. Sealed the deal on my new car this past weekend. There has been so much snow this year that it will still be a while before I can drive it, but I'm very anxious to get it into my garage nonetheless.
I guess once you develop the Ferrari fever, it's impossible to get rid of it. Would have loved to have been able to keep the RS as well. Although it is destined to become a collector car, I never keep my cars long enough.
Congrats, Dennis ! Great decision. How many miles on that top Scud ?
Thanks guys! Just over 5000 km. Never thought I would want or own a yellow Ferrari but this car has such presence when you see it in the flesh. My top pick was Rosso Scuderia, followed by Rosso Corsa, then Giallo. Once I saw it, the decision to buy was easy.
Congratulations and welcome to a car which has not had two Centerlock wheel recalls, failing cooling hose couplers due to an insufficient design (epoxy glued to the block, really?), or a dealership chain which scours the monthly club newsletters to detect owners who track their cars in a club event so the dealership can deny any and all warranty claims.
Congratulations! I can practically hear the exhaust in the picture! As for the Porsche, I laughed on the post about their service related issues. When I had mine, the dealer took me out for a track day, where they misrepresented and issued mea gift I was to have won, by posting quickest autocross time. When I went to collect the next day, they told me it was a joke(really??). I then noticed they were keeping note of who was attending to make sure they didn't cover them for warranty issues. I found that creepy, decided to go Ferrari, and haven't looked back.
