From Porsche to Porsche to Ferrari to Porsche...

And back to Ferrari!

Just sold the best car I've ever owned (GT3 RS) whose status is soon to become the second best car I've ever owned. Sealed the deal on my new car this past weekend. There has been so much snow this year that it will still be a while before I can drive it, but I'm very anxious to get it into my garage nonetheless.

I guess once you develop the Ferrari fever, it's impossible to get rid of it. Would have loved to have been able to keep the RS as well. Although it is destined to become a collector car, I never keep my cars long enough.

Goodbye:

And hello!!!!!!!!!!

Thanks guys! Just over 5000 km. Never thought I would want or own a yellow Ferrari but this car has such presence when you see it in the flesh. My top pick was Rosso Scuderia, followed by Rosso Corsa, then Giallo. Once I saw it, the decision to buy was easy.

I wanted yellow for my Spider as well.
Talked out of it by almost everyone.
After looking at your Scud Dennis, I wish I would have held out
That's beautiful !!

Wowzers! You bought one of the few cars I'd ever give up a 997 GT3 for. Enjoy it in good health!

I'd take the Scud and the airplane in a heartbeat Dennis.

It looks like an old Piper I used to fly.

Nice!

Must be tough to let go of a GT3 but a Ferrari is a Ferrari...

Have fun!

Garage
Congratulations and welcome to a car which has not had two Centerlock wheel recalls, failing cooling hose couplers due to an insufficient design (epoxy glued to the block, really?), or a dealership chain which scours the monthly club newsletters to detect owners who track their cars in a club event so the dealership can deny any and all warranty claims.

Why so much hate for yellow? Definitely less popular for Ferraris and harder to resell, but it still looks great.

Always wanted to take up flying but never had the time. This pic was from one of our track days at the airport. Loads of fun!

Good point. I think a Scud will always be in high demand, just like the current RS.

I agree. I'm going to miss the Porsche. It's a fantastic driver's car.

Like the Gt Porsche.

Love the SCUD!

I'm secretly in love with the yellow but no a yellow car guy ( wife tells me so).

ENJOY

Congratulations! I can practically hear the exhaust in the picture! As for the Porsche, I laughed on the post about their service related issues. When I had mine, the dealer took me out for a track day, where they misrepresented and issued mea gift I was to have won, by posting quickest autocross time. When I went to collect the next day, they told me it was a joke(really??). I then noticed they were keeping note of who was attending to make sure they didn't cover them for warranty issues. I found that creepy, decided to go Ferrari, and haven't looked back.

She looks great. Hopefully you get some nicer weather because there is little more helpless in snow than a Scuderia.
