Eye popping 16M

Thought I would share this great looking 16M. Whoever spec'd this car has good taste! Love the Rosso Fiorano. Your thoughts?

Seller should have taken the $220k the first time rather than re-list.

So you would sell at $35k less than you really want - got anything for sale?

The price difference between the 16M and scud are not for the faint of heart. I guess a numbered series hold value.

Not the Red I prefer. Dramatic true.

In terms of price- it all depends- value is what someone is willing to purchase when you want to sell it.

That said, price seems reasonable now.

Another eye popper and this one is 'Nuovo Rosso F1' with luggage and some brochures I've not seen before.
Anyone familiar with the top right brochure and small poster in one of the last images.

Used 2009 Ferrari F430 16M Scuderia SPIDER For Sale in the San Francisco Bay Area | VIN: ZFFKW66A190167265

Agree with some of the others. If there were bids that high in such a short amount of time--clearly someone will pay more. Especially given that stunning example. I really doubt there is another one that color..and if there is the chance of buying it is very low. Patience will pay off for the seller. Especially on a more rare example.

I don't understand your math.
The bid of $220,600 was 18.4k from a Buy It Now of $239k

Link: http://www.ebay.com/itm/2009-Ferrari...p2047675.l2557

PS - some of the worst photography I've seen for such a high end sale; shoot the car on a dirt road in bright sunlight, really? Color shifts between photos? Spend a few dollars and get a professional photographer, shoot all angles and include wheels, console, door details, etc.

Seller isn't presenting ZFFKW66A490166496 in the best possible that could be done

He reduced the price - it was higher the first time it was listed.

I agree with everything you said - in spring is when one sells a Spider.

You're correct. The truth is the first auction is shown above, second listing was $255k, current is $249k. Real Estate agents would be pulling their hair out at an unfocused client who wavers. I'll bet he doesn't want to sell or hasn't thought this out, but he has blown his " one chance to make a first impression"

OTOH, the car will probably sell itself, it is that nice

Incidentally, they are not numbered like some earlier models. Ferrari learned their lesson. If you have a plaque saying 1 of 499, you can actually sell 600 of them and it will be a long time before anyone finds out. Like the 120 or so 1 of 80 SA Apertas.

I have seen the car in Portland.
Nd. Had the headlight hazing, not sure if that has been fixed. The RSC exhaust sounds way better than the Capristo system, had it on my black Scud.
