To Buy or not to Buy ?

Greetings fellow Ferrari owners.I am looking to purchase a F360 what are your thoughts? are the what most people make them out to be? I can't quite afford a F430 but want to use the F360 as a stepping stone. Are there any pitfalls? colour etc ? Your comments would be most interesting.

It's only Rock 'n Roll . . . but I like it !!!!

I've had my 360 for ~10 years and it has been problem free and a joy to own and drive.
I got a little "bored" with it recently, so I added red scuderia stripes, polished aluminum air boxes, and HRE 19" wheels. Next I'll add CF to the interior and perhaps the LED tailights.

It now feels like a "new" car to me and I am no longer "bored" (I'm not sure that is the proper sentiment). It is silver and tan.

Go for it and good-luck with the hunt!

Own mine for over 8 years and still loving it. Have mad many mods such as OEM 430 wheels and CF mirrors, tubi exhaust, replaced all of the sticky bits with carbon fiber, etc.

Once you are own one you will be hooked.

+360. I've owned my '99 since almost new and I love it. In fact, despite the 430 being a much improved car mechanically, I prefer the smooth, cleaner lines of the 360. I think it is "aging" better. Whatever you buy be sure to get a good PPI and buy accordingly.

Cheers.

Yes. The Ferrari is a fatal bite, there is no known cure.

We too liked the 360 better than the 430. We like the looks of both inside and outside better. Coming up on 4 years with our Spider, it is still just as exciting as the first day.

Take your time, find a good one (with documented history), if it passes a PPI, buy it. You will not regret it.

Of all the narcissists I know, I love me the most.

Bought my first ferrari a year ago.
I just can't get enough of it
It's not all sweet and nice like a BMW you know you are driving something special .
The only advice I can give is make sure it's had the correct services in its service book .

Welcome ! I will agree that the 360 is a car that is aging well due to its lines compared to F430. Don't get me wrong. The F430 are beautiful machines with less maintenance costs compared to the 360. When I did my search I found out maintenance costs for the 360 are reasonable compared to older model lines.

As far as price point I think you can get a great car for the money right now. And of course make sure you get history on car and get all keys, manuals and any records.

Good luck hunting!

Had a 360! Great cars! I now own an F430 Spider also a great car! Bottom line is: ya just can't go wrong with a Ferrari..... The 360's and F430's are very easy on the wallet to maintain.

Buy Baby Buy!
