Where can I source a GT3 vented hood and associated aero?

Anyone have a pulse on where I can get my dirty mitts on a vented hood with the associated aero hardware and ducting?

Thinking about "spicing" things up with the Scuderia looks dept I might be down to do the full front-end conversion too if the price is right!

Alwin, this is a New Zealand Scuderia GT3, that was brought out of Germany/so I think it arrived like that. It is actually for sale here.

As I don't carry stuff in my front trunk, I'd be interested in getting a new hood. Would someone please contact me what is available?

David.

Exotic car gear

They sent me a pm - offering a cf vented hood for 2400.00

I like the Michelotto style better.

You have been 1 of the biggest critics of the Speciale' looks, and you want to add that to your Scud???

I have never mentioned anything against the bonnet vents on the Specialé...just the entire front fascia, arbitrary side winglets and rear bumper. It's quite an ugly package compared to the base 458.

Don't get me started on the stripes though san-stripe ie non-livery is definitely the way to go for the Specialé, which is a darn shame since the CS and Scuderia both look quite brilliant with stripes.

Just my opinion. And my goal with the vented hood on the Scuderia is to complete my race/challenge look.

Why are the stripes on the hood so screwed up?

Agree Mark! I think it is because the outlets on the GT3 are two triangles, their bases being of course parallel to the number plate end and their apices are near the outer edge of the stripe.

The VS seems to have more of a central spine, so the stripes can drop down it without being bisected. They then look better at an angle, not that I have been able to see one 'in the flesh' yet. Remember we are a year behind the rest of you guys.

David

Hi Zanfie,

Do you have the schematics for the boot space modifications for the aero airflow?

No prob. But are you able to supply the parts for the internal to make a vented bonnet work?
