Need Hardtop for Spider

Hello all, I was wondering if anyone was aware of any hardtops available in the US for a 430 Spider.
I am normally a coupe person, but I was sent this car by the owner of the business I run. It was a reward for me, and being I admired it from the day he got it, he decided to send it to me. I really like the way the car looks with the top up, and I have seen a company that sells a paintable hardtop from Germany, but I don't want to go thru the shipping and ordering drama if I can avoid it.
Being the car was "sold" to me for what amounts to a token price, I can't in clear conscience simply trade it out for a coupe.
I do like the lines of the spider with the top up. Not so much with the top down,so buying a hardtop for it will make me think of it as a keeper.

I would also consider a used one regardless of color if anyone has bought one from Germany or anywhere else and tired of it.

I am a little excited waiting for the truck to arrive from Cali to NJ.

Thank you for any input you can provide.

The 430 Spider was not designed to have a hard top fitted and I doubt you would ever get a great seal on one unless you put a number of mounting holes in the body.. Much better to trade for the coupe if that is what you prefer.

Hi Boxer, I was afraid I would hear that . I have seen the pictures of the German supplier, and thought, " why have I never seen one other than the advertisement car"?

Well, a 430 spider isn't really punishment! Hopefully I just get used to it. It really is nice, I just always gravitate to the hardtop.

I am sure I will sort this thru.

Thank you
