Brake Pads with or without Sensor slots

A question for those of you who are more technical than I ...

I have just received a set EBC Yellowstuff brake pads which I still have in the box. They are listed as for the 360. They do not have the slot cutout for the brake sensor ... which means that I would have to secure the brake sensor up and away ... which would then mean I would not have any indicator of the pads wearing down to the nib. Now, I am not really concerned with this as I visually check pad wear on frequent basis. And, I understand that as long as the wear sensors are not in position to make electrical contact with ground, I should not get a Brake Warning light.

But .. for you guys out there .... I would like to have some technical feedback on my proposed approach. Should I not use the EBC's and get pads that will allow the use of the wear sensor? Is my understanding of keeping the wear sensor contact away from electrical ground correct?

Thanks,

Steve

I'm using pads without the indicator. If you fit them just insulate the connection and tape it out of harms way.
You are correct, it grounds on the disc to bring on the light so you will have no problem.
