360 Header Questions

Sorry for rehashing this issue but I did a search and can't find the info, new to the forum.

Thinking about changing out my headers preemptively before I have an issue.

Questions,

Should I be worried about this on a 2004 360 with 9500 miles?

If so I'm looking at Fabspeed and Tubi and others, any thoughts?

The Tubi do not have the air rails, what's the work around solutions?

TIA,
Roberto

Hi ,having your headers check is always a good thing.I have sold and installed Fabspeed headers . They work well . You can get them made with or without secondary air lines.
Thanks
Alex.

Roberto- Have them inspected, like Alex mentioned. But I would not expect any problems for years unless you are unlucky.

If anything right now, I would consider installing the Capristo mounts that take most of the strain off the headers as they expand and the engine moves under torque.

Thanks Terry,

I understand that the Capristo brackest will not fit the 360 with the factory race exhaust.

Too bad because they saound like a great barcket.

Roberto- Well, that saves you some money. Now the best thing is to just drive her.
