Rotor Holes Clogged

The inside of my rear brake rotors are clogged with brake dust. Is this a concern. Should I remove the wheel and clean them or am just getting crazy here.

William- Just blow them out with compressed air.

Not a concern it is just out of sight!

Mine were when I serviced my brakes over the winter. It was rock hard so I poked them all out and spin a countersink tool in each hole to take the rough edges away.

Taz:
Would you remove the tire to make it more accessible?
How important is it to address it?
Thanks,
Bill

Bill, it's important if you do any weekend tracking as they should be clear for cooling. It's common and when we took delivery of our 360 they were so hardened I used a round file to poke them out. Wheels on takes time to get them all but doable. A drawback after you clean them is for some time the rusted dust remains within the inner of the rotor (there's two sides to poke out with each hole) and will dirty the rims when wet until washed a few times. Recommend the blower method first
