Nice car!

I've always thought the rear challenge grilles on the F430 is sorta interesting (I believe the LaFerrari borrow its styling cue and perfected it ).

Here's a pic I took, 430 standard vs. challenge grille:

Cheng,

I'm so excited for you! Finally you got your F car, and she is stunning! Your patience and persistence paid off.

Can't wait to see more pics (interior etc) and read your driving impressions.

Again, so happy and excited for you. Enjoy her in good health.

Cheng- Way to go. She looks great. Andrew or one of his helpers will have to stick an owner tag under your name now.

Congrats Cheng ! Very happy you choose a stunning rosso 430!

Love the rear CF grill! That's one of the best upgrades I made on my car

Is that the one we emailed about?

Stef,

Yes. she's the one you and i corresponded about. thank you so much for your assistance. your input made a big difference as i had no clue about the sd3 printouts. car turned out to be near perfect condition with zero stories.

Taz,

owner tag be cool but not a biggie for me. i know it's real!!!

Don

Don,

ur too kind. Medium in polo but only if you are coming up here! that way we can both drive together!

i doubt i'll be trucking the F430 down that way for a while. More realistically would be back to California when i need the clutch replaced. Wife and i planned to drive the F430 from Redondo beach to Santa Barbara to monterey then back to the service site to get trucked back home. That should be plenty driving to make sure the clutch is setup right. Inspection site tells me i should ahve at least 8K to 10K more miles to go before i need to think of that.

update

well i just spoke to Craig at Fastcars today. Last item on my short list of things to do to the F430 is being done tomrw: tinted side windows. After that car will await a spendy final detailing inside and out a couple of days b4 the truck comes for her. The slightly sad part is that the trucking people may not be able to pick her up until a couple weeks from now. oh well. i waited since i was 11 y.o. so a couple more weeks shouldn't hurt. The reasoning from the trucking company is that it's primetime for the snowbirds to get their cars back to where they want them. lots of demand for moving cars across the US right now. THe good news is that Craig promised to send me some pictures tomrw when the windows are done! woo hoo!!!

Cheng,

That's very exciting. Please post pics of the tints if you get them. I'll bet it'll look great!

You're way more patient than I was when waiting for mine to be delivered
