What should I offer/pay for this Scuderia?

Anybody know anything about this Scuderia? I like the color combo. Any known stories on it?

Ferrari : 430 Scuderia in Ferrari | eBay Motors

For $170k I can get the red one with 2k miles in Florida with front bumper and fender repaint and no LED wheel. I hate to buy a storied car but 20-25k price difference makes me consider it.

No Led Steering Wheel will make it very hard to resell! Not to mention fender respray might make some people skeptical . I'd say the white 09 is worth 185-187?

Is the one in Florida an 09?

Depends what you are looking for - if you are going to track it or ... 185 - 190k

The white carries a premium - seems like everyone and their brother is buying Scuds lately - about time!

I don't think there are as many Scuds as others - 1800 / 2000 tops plus the 16M's.

Last white one to sell was the 2009 at Ferrari of New England. It had 1200 miles or so, sold for 202k. This one has 5k more miles, at $2 / mile deduct, worth 192k IMO.

The red car has been in an accident. Never buy a Scud without the LED steering wheel. Would cost you 10k to fix / replace. If the price seems too good to be true, it is.

I plan on tracking a few times a year, I'm not really worried about resell I kept my old car (360) for 6 years. Probably will do the same with this one if its as fun to drive as I think. If the paint was done correctly and the front clip was not killed the red one wouldn't bother me and the 1980 miles is a plus.
Everything about the white one is awesome, but I think this guy knows he has something special. I would easily give 185 for it, doubt he will take it. I have a email to him asking questions.

The red one has been a topic on the forums. I had a guy that does PPI call to see if I would be interested in this very same car. Mark told me about history and immediately told the man- No Thanks.

I like the white, apparently a premium for that. Leather interior is nice, not a very common option with the Scud. I would think 185-190k.

This is Scuderia pricing model:
2009 Model Year
White / Silverstone or 3 layer paint option 209k start
Red 205k start
Black / Yellow 200k start
Deduct $2.00 / mile
Deduct $2000 for tech fabric interior

2008 Model Year with U.S. Carbon Package
189k start
Same deducts as above

If you are going to track your car, you need to change the brake pads to a track pad, otherwise you will go through the street pads very quickly, and risk damaging the ceramic rotors.

2015 458 Speciale', 2014 F12, 2013 458 Rosso Scuderia (To be traded), 2012 MP4-12C, 2010 LP670 SV, 2010 Panamera Turbo, 2009 16M, 2009 Scuderia , 2008 CLK63 Cab., 2002 996 GT2, 1994 RX-7 R2

when I was buying my scud I found a black version with stripes etc but the the black does not do it justice. Hides the lines. I saw a white one in miami and it was nice. But I got to say the red was the best color. BTW i saw the red scud in question with the accident history. Open the hood and you see evidence of repair underneath the rubber seals. (stay away). the paint work was very good though. The car i ended up buying was yellow. the yellow on the scud looks great. In pictures not so great but in person it leaves an impression. it was nicer than white but thats my opinion.

I enjoyed my black Scuderia, only problem of course is that it is black, and gets dirty / dusty quickly. I love yellow on the Scuderia. I have never understood the bonus for white, but it is what it is. Red to me is boring, simply for the fact that most are red. If you want the same as everyone else, then get red.

I took my black Scuderia to the Redmond ERTC car show. I got compliment after compliment, no one paid any attention to the red one parked in front of mine.

+1 on the LED wheel. I would not consider one without the LEDs.

If there were ass & tits, don't you want both?

Non-led wheel is like one without the other...not the end of the world, but you're definitely missing out on a significant chunk of the experience.

Thanks for the pricing model info Mark. Does the model hold for both the coupe and the 16M? I'm struggling between the coupe or 16M as while I'm not a big fan of convertibles in general there is the limited production number appeal in the 16M.

Thanks,

Carl

Model for coupe is: 205k for 2009 zero miles.
Subtract $2 / mile for up to 10k miles, subrtract $1 / mile after that
Subtract 5 - 8k for no stripes
Subtract 2k for Tech Fabric Interior
Subtract 5k for Black or Yellow

I paid 197 for a 2009 Black car late winter 2012, 2200 miles

Model does not work for 16M. Send me a link to the cars you are considering and I will help you out on what they are worth.

Mark,

Thanks for the help. I'll send you links when I get back from Bulgaria. Been celebrating my son's first birthday and a few other parties this week...got to love having awesome relatives! Kind of hurts with owning the beer garden...unlimited Jack Daniels and no bar tab...ouch!

For what it is worth trying to get out of of this for $250k or under before I have to buy the wife a house on the Black Sea...like we need a fifth house like a hole in the head.

Thanks to all

Carl
