Capristo valve remote control on scud

Is it necessary to turn off battery to install capristo valve remote control?

Stef would be the one who would know. I believe there is a thread on installation of it. Might search in the 430 area.

Hi Jose, no there is no need to disconnect the battery to make this installation. Just leave the ignition key turned off while you do this. Good luck with the install

Thanks for the replies. I'll post some pics. Parts should be here today. Ordered from them directly They are in FL. If I receive package today will do it.

Great, take some pictures, want to do this on my 16M. Want to hear how hard it is. I am not very mechanically inclined, but I would try.

Remote system installed. I removed the rear diffuser which made it much easier. I dropped the Allen wrench a couple times. If diffuser would have been on I would of had to remove it. Accessing the connections on the left side is much easier from the bottom. I'll post some pics tonight. Not a difficult job. Remote works great.

Did you put it on a lift?

then just run long cable from right to left towards the ecu and yellow zip tie. bottom of car view. its tied to the vaccum hose runnining across to vacuum container on left

then put the panels back on. put the rear diffuser back on and done. by the way the fins on the CF rear diffuser are removable. they are attached with screws. I was wondering that a while back.

Killer, appreciate all your work! Now we need videos! How do you like the new downshift sounds since when you select open, the valves stay open on downshift blips.
