Minor mod on my 360- Media Blasted Paddle Shifters

Figured I would post pics of my newly refinished paddles....not a big deal, but I think it goes well with the aluminum trim pieces of the cockpit.

Look nice. Assume you clear coated them afterwards?

One of the best mods I ever made was putting Carbonio Challenge paddles on my car. Much more convenient to use and not bad looking, either. 360 and 575 paddles are identical. Carbonio even has a Ferrari Life discount.

Taz - you would be correct on the clear coat....and yes I have looked at those - over and over and over again - currently nestled in my wish list.

Baby steps...LOL. Ill get her new on the internals first, then go for the pretty parts...

They are a great company. I'm one of their largest dealers in Canada. I have a large inventory of Carbonio parts for Ferrari. The product and finishing is amazing.
If you guys need anything . Give me a call.
Alex.

Looks good.

Taz,

Now I see why you suggested a YELLOW tach dial as a "preferred mod on a 360! You have one on your 375.

To put one on a 360 would be prohibitive.

Jerry- No, on the 360 it is a very easy, do it yourself job with an aftermarket overlay. I would have done that to my car if possible. Ricambi sells the overlay, and the current one is patterned after the F430 yellow tach and very similar to the Superamerica yellow tach.

Can find you a how to reference if you want to do a yellow tach on your 360. Some enterprizing soul even figured out how to silkscreen the little Cavallino on the dial.

Ferrari Parts : D360-Y : D360-Y 360 "430-Style" Tachometer Panel (Yellow)

Was wondering if anyone knew what the metal trim pieces inside the 360 consisted of...as in ...100% aluminum or alloy of aluminum?

Thinking about polishing the "roughness" of the interior pieces to a "high-Polish" look - but would like to know metal content of pieces before doing so....

May just start with a small piece.... like the Boot/fuel button flap....and see how it goes. If I'm going to possibly ruin an interior piece of trim, would like it to be a low-replacement-cost piece!

I think they are plastic, so be careful. Someone here will know.

Ive removed one of the door panels before, as well as the trim around the radio - it did not seem like plastic....seemed all metal, just not sure what metal content it was...however if it is plastic, then I guess I will have to go ahead and start the long road of carbon fibre...
