What in the F430 exhaust system keeps the high pitched sound away?

I have the OEM exhaust, and Im about to invest in a new set of headers.
I have listened to some different headers at the youtube, but I can not really tell why some manufacturers seem to reveal the high pitched noise that I love so much.

From what I have read Capristo makes a great lasting product, but in my ears Im looking for a more high pitched noise.
Fabspeed offers headers and exhaust parts to a lower price, but after all the drama at the forums, I really dont feel OK buying from them.

The Kreis Sieg sure sounds nice, but the price is way too steep for me.
How does the car sound if you delete the cats and just add some headers and keep the stock muffler?

That is exactly what i did 1 year ago.

Changed headers and cats, ecu and air filters.
Power went up to 540bhp but I had a constant CEL because of the cats.

The car had lots of low down torque compared to standard and sounded exactly like the standard car but a lot, a lot more louder.

The way the F430 sounds, is not just from the exhaust, but also the induction system as well as the design of the engine it self.

Now, when it comes to muffler, yes some companies have achieved a slightly higher pitched sound at the top of rev range, but don't be fooled, mufflers alone wont give you any power increase!

Akrapovic is very nice on a 430! Sounds very very good, not to extreme but better then original in my opinion!

The cats make a huge difference. Keep the stock headers, but add straight pipes and a Capristo or RSC exhaust. I know what you mean about the stock sound of a 430, not the high pitch sound I like.

One reason sound is not as high pitched as an F355 or 360 is because both of those have five valves per cylinder and the F430 has four. Kreissieg seems to have the knack for making that high pitched sound, though, and even their Maranello exhausts sound much more high pitched. If you can afford one, my choice for aftermarket exhaust with the best sound.

They had it... There is one in Holland with Akropovic system... I believe company JD Customs did the job on that car! Otherwise they installed other system with carbon look on the 430.. I thought for real it was Akrapovic haha

EDIT: They only made it for Scuderia 430

Exactly this. 4valve v 5 valve cylinder head design, and inlet length track coupled with engine block angle differentiates the noise.

I have heard a Capristo catless exhaust for an F430 that recovers the high-pitched sound. Also heard an RSC exhaust on a 16M that does the same, with the cats intact. I feel it is more the design of the muffler, than whether 4 valve or 5 valve design.

Power Craft Ferrari F430 Hybrid Exhaust System - YouTube

The only high pitched exhaust I have heard from a F430. Yes, that 360/355 whine ppl associate as the "Ferrari sound". It sounds really raspy though which I dislike, I prefer a much smoother note with a clean symphony to the high notes.

Welcome to Ferrari Life. Seems like the Japanes have the knack for making that F1 kind of sound. Looks like they have some good products, including headers and cats for the V8s.

Wondered what hybrid was supposed to mean and found their systems have a remote like Capristo's that opens the pneumatic valves on command. Their version of twin sound.
