Bitter sweet - selling my 360

Bitter sweet moment for me but I just listed my 2003 360 F1 coupe for sale in the Buy & Sell section. Bought in March after looking for a couple of years and drove it most days of the week commuting to work. Selling because a lot became available quite unexpectedly and will be building a house. So the car must go as I don't want any more things to worry about while living in an apartment for the next couple of years it takes to build.

Reading the various blogs really made me worried that I was going to have problems but I never had a CEL or any other issues. Amazingly enough it starts up and drives just like any other car with the exception that I can't stop smiling every time I drive it. It was really the best thing I did for myself and will definitely buy again when I'm done with the house.

I've seen you post on this subject before. So sorry to hear about this decision, but you've obviously thought it through and it's for the best.

Good luck with the construction. Stay on top of the contractors because, unless you pay your Architect to go there every week, some things will pass "under the radar." I'm in the Architecture/Engineering business on the commercial / government side. Just my $0.02.

So what will you be driving while you try to soothe the wound of selling your 360?

Thank you for the advice; I'm being charged to have a full time supervisor on site as my builder usually works on the other side of town. Got a few low ball offers so far; will hold on to the car as it's not worth loosing a lot of money just to lighten up everything. Will be interesting having a Ferrari in an apartment complex where sports car usually means GTI or a Scion...

Good luck with the sale and the house. if i wasn't settled in for 20yrs, now would be a great time to buy.

Just saw this post. I sold my '03 360 Modena F1 in Sept of this year! Talk about bitter sweet. What a great car. No problems at all with the 360. But.....and I do mean BUT, I pick up my F430 Spider F1 tomorrow! I'm so excited....not sure I'll sleep tonight!!!
