Gary- They are bullet-proof so no problem unless it is too loud. If it is, you can always retrofit Capristo valves. CApristo's mounts are highly recommended if you do pick it up, and even if you do not.

Gary, I'm going to fit the Capristo exhaust valves in May while I'll meet up again with Antonio Capristo. My stock valves are getting worn out as they take more and more time to open or close. This is the consequence of the cheap internal plastic vacuum valves which can't stand the heat and they end up leaking. I'll take pictures and let you know.

I've noticed that they open at different times and sometimes stick.

Are you talking about standard valves? are they low quality?

Yes I do The membrane inside the stock valve is made of poor material and ends up melting due to the extreme heat. They will start leaking and youíll need much more vacuum to actuate the valves. The other weakness is the axle and springs of the valve itself located inside the exhaust pipe which will increase in resistance and will require also much more vacuum force to close. Antonio addressed these issues with an entire different design of the valves and they should last the lifetime of the car. His valves have also a heat cap to avoid the direct extreme heat on the valve. This cap has holes on the other half to allow the heat to dissipate from the valve.

I donít think these stock stock exhaust valves issues will appear soon on most of the F430ís, except those who track them often, but rather after a mileage like 40/50.000km as itís case on mine.

The solution :

So.. Do you recommend whole exhaust to be replaced with Capristo or just valves will do the work? I like to keep the muffler and change the exhaust's head and valves. can it be done?
the heads always look dirty and worn out. even polishing don't help as they are not steel.

Sorry, with the heads, do you mean the exhaust headers/manifolds?
