Shhhh, Alwin! I need folks to keep buying into that ridiculousness so that when my wife's out of school in a few years I can pick up a basically new Scud for less than half it's original MSRP.

8,900 miles and ticking...based on fchat consensus, it's probably worth less than my left testicle at this point.

Best is to be an active participant in both of the above! Except the feather dusting, creates scratches.

Fellas,

Some of you might know this but for those who do not, I have been collecting sale/listing data on Scuderia coupés since Jan 2011 (sorry 16M folks). Kind of a beast to publish it all, but I decided that I will start sharing what I see as of this month.

Here's a pdf for your fancy. Pretty straightforward and I tried to call out weird anomalies in the notes section, "x" being something that I consider might potentially (but not necessarily) have a negative impact on value.

I think I will publish an updated PDF every month

Lemme know what you think, enjoy!

I would say Rad's model is still very accurate regarding pricing, maybe drop 10k based on another year has gone by.

Y'all are killin me with the dyno results :-)
We are gonna do mine up here at altitude provided we can get it in before it snows. But I am curious as to the comparison with baseline for the XXX pipe

- I talked to S-Line last night...Y'all game for a group buy for the holidays?

Yes I wanted a baseline too. My Scud coupe was close by that day, should have had it tested, but did not. Might get this done to see the difference against a stock car.

Very nice, thanks for sharing!

Only thing that stood out to me is that it's not known what the cars actually sold for, so this is just a record of asking prices. Would be nice if you could somehow mine the actual sale price data.

Whoa, I feel for you guys who have to store your car for the winter. Would give me severe withdrawal symptoms.

I paid $2,700 for mine

Haven't dyno'd a before and after, but what I can objectively say is that my exhaust note is higher pitched, and I can now hear a very distinct "suction" sound when I punch the throttle (almost like a turbo spooling up). I could hear this from my BMC air filter upgrade alone, but now it's even more pronounced which tells me there is a higher rate of airflow going into the engine.

The airbox itself looks great and the innards of the Novitec box are a lot more venturi-effective with very few hard cornered sides unlike the oem box.

The seat-of-my-pants-butt dyno thinks there is at least 10hp and better low end throttle response in this upgrade

I might have to look into it

Took the 16M to work today - winter doesn't bother me unless there is salt on the roads.

Debating the EVOM upgrade to go along with the Capristo - anyone here that has actually done the upgrade?

Would be nice to get the 16M up to 575.

My latest CF part...

I have had some quite life changing events happen in my life since last posting on the Ferrarilife (in fact any forum!).

.. Its actually a positive ones though, I now have a 5 month old son (!) which as you can imagine has had a dramatic effect on my life (and free time!)

This has meant very little time going on my cars recently but a long time ago in this thread I posted about making a CF rear view mirror. Guess what! It turned up a while ago, I just haven't had the time to do anything about it...

Here's the first pictures (installed), I personally think these are just fantastic, and I mean really great, my car now boasts a full carbon (not laminated) rear view mirror casing. Looks amazing in the flesh due to the shape reflecting the light. What do you guys think?!

Congratulations Trev on the birth of your son!! I wish my Dad was into Ferraris when I was born and had kept them. Did Ferrari make any decent cars in the late fifties?

Your mirror is beautiful.
