One of my friends fitted an F430 exhaust to his 360. He's very happy with it. The tailpipes need to be cut to fit the exit openings.

No, No, No, the F430 exhaust sounds like crap, and is freaking heavy!

I found this to be the best choice to stay OEM + Inexpensive (used 430 exhaust) + still getting the sound I wanted.

Sounds different from the 430. Very nice in fact. Good job.

That F430/CS exhaust sounds great.

Wonder what the configuration was of the Capristo exhaust that cooked off the CS? Cats, no cats, etc?

Terry- As far as local authorised dealer here told me there are some minor differences between CS and 430 silencers's inside. Flowing in/out ways of exhaust gases are different.
Before I installed my titanium silencer with 100 cell FIA approved cats to my car I really wanted to install OEM CS muffler and cats on it because of its epic sound. They warned me that about this difference although they have 10s of used oem 430 mufflers in their stock.

yeah the original CS muffler is more rare and expensive and it has different item number. Giving the amazing CS sound to the Modena is more complicated that it seems...
I ve been doing a deep research for a month now about the exhausts as it is the only modification i will probably do.
I have concluded to three options:
The factory option (430 muffler) - safe but boring
The brand name aftermarket option (Tubi, Capristo). Nice but expensive
The cheap option (Timate, Nouvalari etc) Awesome but a bit risky.
There are other known brands like Supersprint, Miltek, Remus and more but since Ferrari owners dont prefer them, i will stay away too

Mike- Add Kreissieg to the high end list, and Novitec. The first high pitched and the second, with 90 mm tailpipes, low pitched.

Anybody has tried this exhaust? It looks pretty ugly though...

I have this set up on my Spider and love it. Not too loud in the driveway, but screams when opened on the road. The first time it happened, it scared the pants off me, I thought something had gone wrong with the car. The low end truly sounds like a monster unleased from hell.

I like the looks of it as well, there's lots of room to maneuver around it. And of course it's OEM which I like. The only drawback might be the looks of the tips, while certainly distinctive, they are a bit plain looking.

Of all the narcissists I know, I love me the most.

installed capristo twin sound, and it is perhaps the best upgrade i've done for the car. worth every penny or should i say pounds...
the silent function is pretty quiet and tolerable, just a tad bit louder than stock.
but when you open it up on "2", it is pure F1 orchestra - sounds even better than 458 stock if i may say so.

I had my valves opened permanently on my OEM exhaust, recently. Much improved sound and better throttle
responsiveness. I cant wait for my exhaust upgrade!

Does anyone know of using a 430 exhaust in the 360. My tech guy claims that the 430 exhaust (available on e-bay for less than $1000) makes a great difference to the 360 ... and he thinks sounds better that Capistro or Tubi ... subjective of course.

Yes, it sounds better on 360 than 430. With some modifications it will fit. You wont get rid of the white dust however...

Seems to be two options with the 430 exhaust on the 360: std 430 and the 430 CS. I believe the CS muffler (360 or 430) has one single down pipe to the tips, can some one confirm this? Does anyone have an opinion on the sound difference between those two options??

TTDang due to the dual exhaust tips, I believe yours is the std 430 exhaust, can you confirm?

Also under a separate post I asked if anyone has actually made the modification to the 430 exhaust and can you tell me what it looks like? Shorten or lengthen the tip pipes to fit through the bumper?

I have a brand new Tubi NGT bought from eBay last week for $3900. I may want to sell it because I live in a small community that neighbor already complained about my previous car with high flow cat. Let me know if you are interested, I will sell for $3800 + shipping. Exhaust is at Brian's shop now.

430 exhaust on 360

So I answered part of my own question. The 430 CS has single down pipe off the muffler with single tip exhaust but it exits more in the middle of the bumper so it will not work on the 360. I heard that the 360 CS does apparently work, which may be the same as the standard 430 exhaust?
