Scuderia: Adjusting rear panels and grille

Hi
When looking at the Scud today I noticed that the gap between the engine hood and the carbon grille isn't even, it is larger on the left side. I am trying to figure out if it can be adjusted and if so, how. I am also a little bit puzzled by the fact that the exhaust ends don't seem to be 100% centered i the exhaust holes in the rear bumper. Cant these things be adjusted as well?

Johan, is the gap where I draw the yellow square? If this is the case, then I believe there is not much which can be done because the CF grill isn't the problem as it is well aligned. The gap seems to be created by the upper body part which I think can't be adjusted. Sorry but I have seen many Scuderias with very bad aligned body parts. This seem to be very commun on these cars while on the F430, the alignments are better. When I changed my rear bumper for the lower one + CF grill, it has been a real pain to get it aligned.

Regarding the exhaust, maybe there is a chance to ajust the exhaust terminal as indicated in #18, by adding some thin shims.

Thanks Stef, feels a little better knowing this isn't uncommon :-)

Most of the F430 I have seen seems a little better in body part alignment as well as color matching. I find this a little strange as the Scuderia are later in production and usually these things gets better down the line of productionů

I also have a color diff (best seen in artificial LED light) of the plastic parts as well and from what I have seen and heard that isn't uncommon either.

About the exhaust. It isn't the exhaust tip on the bumper that is off, but the end of the exhaust it self (behind the bumper). I guess it means that the exhaust itself need to be adjusted, if that is possible.

Oh I see, there is a small margin of adjustment possible on the exhaust bracket (parts #41, #28 and #31)

I took a closer look today to see if there are any way to fix the gaps of the hood and carbon fiber grille.

What I found out is that the carbon parts seems very much hand made and the fitment are therefore independent. The screw holding the carbon grille to the bumper are probably drilled during fitment and the result will be different.

It might be possible to adjust the fitment but I guess it means removing the rear bumper to get access to all the screws. Might be a project for next winter, now I just want to get it back on the road and drive...
