Hi Stefan,

Received your package yesterday. My Mum just died from a short illness, so it will probably be a little while before I feel like installing them. When I do I'll post pics.

Thanks once again for all of your kindness as you patiently helped me with all of my questions.

Hi guys,

Thanks for your kind words of support both on this thread and in private messages. You are a nice crowd and your thoughts certainly helped.

Stef, what order would you suggest I instal my - DRL's, 3rd brake light, rear lights?

David.

Hi David,
The order of installation doesn't really matter. You can for instance start with the DRL lights + ECU module for the front, then install the rear lights and finish with the 3rd brake light. Please carefully follow all the instructions in the installation guides I've emailed you.
If you have any questions, don't hesitate to send me an email.
All the best down-under,
Stef

Hi Stef, is the 360 lights and third brake light kits I got early this year compatible with an F430?

Cheers

Hi Michael. Are you looking to change for a F430 ?

Unfortunately, the 360 rear lights are very different compared to the F430. They won't fill at all on the F430 rear lights as the shape of the bulb holders is completely different. But good news is that the 3rd brake light will fit perfectly well on the F430 as the shape is 100% identical.

Let us know if you find a nice F430
Cheers,
Stef

Hi. Stef, already found (see Spur of the moment 360 thread)

I figured as much on the lights. They are nothing short of supurb so expect a call on an F430 set in the near future. I will switch out the third brake light before it goes, although now I'm writing it down I sound a bit of a Scrooge!

Cheers
Michael

Thanks Michael, anytime and congrats for your new baby! Well, if you're interested, you can take the chance to purchase our new Full Line 3rd brake light and leave the dotted one you have already on the 360 And the futur owner of your stunning F360 will certainly appreciate your full LED rear lights
Cheers,
Stef

Stef. I couldn't resist...and couldn't fathom the fact that I had to wait for the drl ecu to be sent back to you and for the newer variant to be sent back to me. I wanted to play with my new toy asap...so I had it installed whilst the car was in the shop for a whole bunch of other works. I'll post pix soon. I know....I'm hopeless.

I'll probably buy the newer drl ecu in the next order.

Some pictures of a happy F430 Spider Swiss owner.

Even with the smoked rear lights, the ILUAL43 LED lights remain still very bright. He installed also the new Full Line 3rd brake light as well as the front DRL headlights + ECU control module.

He even made a small video of the fading DRL Headlights

How do you smoke the tailights without buying the complete replacement from Novitec?

We don't darken our rear lights yet but we are studying and testing out different solutions. Maybe next year, the smoked version of the taillights will be added to my products catalogue

I had some Novitec smoked rear lights on my 430 Spider for a while, but got rid of them after that while, think they look tacky, especially on a read car where OEM lights go better

Personally, I'm not found of smoked tail lights as they are too much seen on any other tuned car...I think it removes a bit the prestige of our exclusive cars. But it looks like quite some Ferrari owners like it as I receive regularly emails asking me if I can sell them.

David, difficult to say with which car colour the smoked tail lights would match best. Maybe yellow as it contrasts already a lot with the red tail lights.
