Otto- Good to see you over here. Great looking luggage, even if your interior was not bordeaux.

Is it just me, I can't get into Ferrari luggage at all, especially at the numbers being asked. My guess is most of it is bought with the car, never used, then sold separately long after the car has gone.

I looked at a 599 recently with the full creama/rosso luggage set but placed no value on it to the sellers dismay, as I thought it looked naff once taken out of the car and would spend most of its life under the stairs with all the other luggage. If I knew what it cost I would have suggested he keep it and take 10k of the price of the car!

Cheers
Michael

My only shot at that would have been if Peter had some.

It never appears and they won't make me a set.

I always assumed I'd want a set for each car.
However, this week I looked at a 456 with a full set, which consumed the entire boot and still needed one in the back seat. It was then I realized they would forever sit in the closet unused.
Even the modest set for the Spider won't fit with the optional center stereo speakers, so they wouldn't be used either.
Now, I'd rather have a nice leather wheelie bag from the Ferrari Store.

Of all the narcissists I know, I love me the most.

Red Luggage

The red 430 luggage is sold and went to England.

I just picket up a 4 piece set in tan for my 599, but I am still looking for a black or couio colored set.

It gives me pleasure to look at Ferrari Luggage in and outside the cars as well as using it on trips.
For some of my cars I have 2 sets ( one to use and one for show )

PS: Compared to my wife's purses, Ferrari luggage does not seem too much overpriced ;-)

Doug, have you checked with Ferrari, it still lists on their web site and it's the sort of thing they would make on demand I assume.

Doug, just talked with my dealer, the suitcase set can be ordered, as I suggested it is a made to order item - group buy, might be some interest? (I'm happy to organise).

Approx. 5k . It comes as 3 customised pieces. A trolley bag, a holdall and a suit carrier.

Yaaa Russell!!!!!

I am in - for one or all 3.

If you prefer 1 vs the other that's fine and we can split it up.

That alcantara book was 800.00 and it's in the wrong colors

My 16M originally had luggage - when the salesman ran the sticker - I assumed it still had the luggage.

I think a lot of salesman have sticky fingers.

Otto congrats that was a steal!

I was thinking the same thing as the Wife buys one purse for a lot more than the price of all that luggage.

It's sort of a sport / hobby to buy new old stock.

Have you ever seen Scud / 16M luggage?

Doug, I understand they make it to match the interior of the 16M, if you want to PM me your VIN then I can enquire and get the full picture of what exactly they customise to the car features. I see on your pics you have the red 3d fabric in the seat centres which matches the luggage pictures well, I have the black centres so it will be interesting to see what the options are! Out of interest, what did the luggage retail at when purchased with the car according to your sticker?

Anyone else interested?

Looks nice, but in all reality, will the luggage even be used? Will it make your driving experience any better, your car any faster, handle any better?

We look at these types of purchases when we are bored. Quick trip to Las Vegas and a bunch of laps at Exotic's Racing would be more up my alley.
