LED Bulb for the 360 Clock?

Experts,

Saw this link posted on the "other" site: Ferrari Clock

A guy found an LED bulb to make the 360 clock brighter. But he seems to want to be the middleman and order for everyone. Does anyone recognize or know what bulb he used?

Reward offered.

Of all the narcissists I know, I love me the most.

Ever thought of asking? If you read down on the posting, someone asked and I posted the source. They are readily available so I did not figure anyone would have trouble finding them. Here is the link, just scroll down until you see the one with the 3 LED emitters and get the bright white one like the one in my write up. Autolumination Instrument Panel Light Bulbs & Lamps)

If you follow the thread, someone asked me for the source and I posted it. They are readily available so did not of posting the source. I tried posting the source link here but this site seems to be tied up to where you cannot do that. You will have to go to Ferrari Chat to see the link.

Installed one of the bulbs today. What a difference, you can actually read the clock in full daylight!

Thanks JD, you're a genious.

Hey Al, I bought spares and I'm putting one in the mail for you.

Interesting and learn something new every day. I assumed the clock was part of the multi-function display, like it is for the 575M and the F430, all of which share the same instrument panel architecture. So I was wondering how an LED bulb was going to help. Lo and behold, the 360 has a separate clock.

I was looking at the instrument panel lighting strip and wondering how you were going to make an LED bulb work.

Taz- I suppose that they are talking about the digital clock on the ceiling, near by rear view mirror (in 360s). And also I think it is possible to change colour of the needles by the help of small led bulbs (an alternative for painting needles with transparent colours). However there are some people who produce these strips -below- for 360s and 550/575s. (Welcome to Prosport Ferrari...).

Can You Give More Bulb Details?

Hello,
I went to the bulb site.....I scrolled down but could not find the bulb you spoke of.
I know I just missed it.
Can someone give a little more information...
Like a product number or a more detailed description?
It's the bulb for the clock.

Thanks again.

Tony,

It's the Tri-Power 3LED Bulb, the 15th bulb listed and right below the 5LED one.

JD was right on with the LED bulb. Makes a world of difference. Do note the LED is polarized and you might have to shave the bulb entry just a tad to get it in place. A very inexpensive mod that makes the clock functional.
