360 question ; what went there ?

On my 360 rear hatch there are two hinges. Each hinge has a threaded hole , now empty and on the hatch inboard near the roof are two more threaded empty holes . All four appear to have been used , perhaps as a rain gutter? What went there?

a brace perhaps? I saw a pic of a 360 Challenge car that had metal cross braces installed, perhaps for improved rigidity of the bonnet?

Here's the Challenge rear lid. Somewhat the same as std 360. I don't see anything that stands out.

I'll take a closer look at mine.

Parts 17 & 18 are not installed on my stock 360. Perhaps someone had installed them previously on yours, then removed them? Or, perhaps a strut to keep the lid up for shows?

They would not as would a few more of the parts displayed. #'s 24-27 you do not have either. That's the pop latch for the Challebge.

The two numvers you point out are supports for the lexan "glass" that goes into the Challenge car.

Remember this is not the Stradale. It's the challenge car but the lids are the same.

I will check mine.

Ok

There is a decorative panel in place covering the hinges. It's #6.

It was only available to those of us who paid "high value" for the vehicle!!!!!

Now that I see the diagram I think I am missing part 6 which functions as a rain gutter I believe.

Besides decorative I do believe it was part of the side drains for when hatch opened and there being water outside.
