360 window switch

Has anyone replaced the window switches on a 360? My "velvet touch" finish has begun to peel on one of the switches. Otherwise the car looks showroom new.

I wanted to replace the switch myself but someone said the radio needs to come out with the center console.

Is this really that difficult? Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks.

Before you under take the expense of replacing the switch try cleaning it. Search this site and www.ferrarichat.com for a thread that talked about sticky plastic. One option is to use oven cleaner. Another is to try hand sanitizing towelettes. Lastly there is a member who provides a service cleaning the plastic and even replaces the labeling that wears off.

If you remove the radio panel the swiches are easy to remove.

No need to replace as stated.

You can clean them.

I would be very careful with oven cleaner as those fumes are extremely toxic!

Use plenty of ventilation.

Don't spray any cleaner directly on the switch--You will screw up the electronics inside....Needs to be taken apart and cleaned by hand to make look new again...
