Who designed the 599?
Over the weekend I saw an article about the new one-off Kode57 by Ken Okuyama, formerly of Pininfarina, which was displayed at the Quail and purchased by boxer Floyd Mayweather. In the article they claim that Ken Okuyama was responsible for the design of the Ferrari 599 GTB and the Enzo when he was a Pininfarina, but up until now I have always read that it was Frank Stephenson who was responsible for the design of the 599 while he was at Pininfarina. So I am wondering were they both collaborating on the design of the 599 or is it misinformation in the article and was it Frank Stephenson's design as I have believed up until now.
I stand corrected. According to Wikipedia Ken Okayama was creative director at Piininfarina and did oversee the design of the Ferrari 599. As far as Ferraris are concerned Frank Stephenson apparently only oversaw the design of the Ferrari F430 and the 612 Scaglietti when he was a Pininfarina.
Interesting question Clyde ...
