Ferrari caliper script upside down on one side

I haven't really noticed until I got a pair of slightly used CCM rear calipers for a 612 where the script is upside down on the drivers side and what I consider correct on passenger side. First I thought it's a production mistake but I also noticed that on 599 too. Haven't seen that on other cars. Anybody know why? Rgds///Thomas

Thomas- They are aligned so they are most upright for reading, even if it does not look that way.

I did not like that, so mine are aligned like mirror images at both front and rear.

Every day I look around, and if nobody is shooting at me, it is a pretty good day.

Terry, if they were at 9 or 3 position (Clock) it might be acceptable but they are not. I guess they are powder coated so a strip bath and a new coat would fix it but without the script. Stickers are usually no good, script should be painted. Rgds///Thomas

Thomas- High temperature brake decals coated with clear coat work fine. That is what is on mine. The clear coat prevents any decal peeling and there is no paint to crack or split.
