456M Wheels. If I do not have a duplicate, it will be a miracle.

If you like the 550 wheels, Chris has sets for $1200 brand new.

Jack- No, this Chris. They are 18", and 18" and 19" wheels really update the look of the 456 with its 17" wheels.

Jack- Those wheels will not fit. Wrong bolt pattern. You need 5x108 mm and those are 5x114.3 mm.

Jack- Whoever wrote that got it wrong so you are justified in asking for your money back. Starting with the 612, all subsequent Ferrari models have had 5x114.3 mm wheels. Those wheels will absolutely not fit earlier Ferrari models without some kind of not recommended adapter.

I was worried about that when I first saw your post as I thought I remembered the 599 being the later pattern.

360 wheels are often times a good choice. Sets can almost always be picked up off ebay for less than $1k. Relatively light, classic style and 18" so they make early cars look modern.

Or, we just need to get Mark to break out the welder and mill on those 599 wheels.

Bret- 360 wheels are way too narrow up front for the 456M. A full inch too narrow. Owners I know that have tried that combination have swapped back to wider wheels.

I pulled the old motor mounts yesterday, they are of the old design so the 575 style mounts are on order should be in next week. As you can see from the photos the pwr steering line had been rubbing on the engine block, the line itself looks fine but the softer aluminum of the block had a groove in it. I followed the instructions from some of the guys who have done this themselves by removing the front stabilizer and the pwr steering rack, after doing all that found you can remove the mounts through access of the wheel wells and from under the car and taking them off wasn't necessary for me. I truly can't imagine doing this without a lift, I'm sure some have done it but I'm to old for that.

I just found this thread...congrats Jack! A 456 is a car I'd very much like to add but Lana keeps reminding me that I already have a Ferrari that I need to finish.

BTW, I have a set of 550 wheel sitting here......maybe 2 sets is I decide to change to a more 308 looking option.

Thanks Mark! I have the GT40 for sale and planed on a exotic cruiser with some luxury, the 456M bang for the buck is perfect, I would have preferred a 575 or 550 but this car makes the most sence. I bought the 599 wheels and tires and have my machinist buddy with a 5 axis cnc mill looking at making them work, if his results are negative I'll give you a shout on those wheels. His comment was the rears are no problem it's the front he's scratching his head on.
