Very nice but anyone looking for a mint condition F550 in a similar colour scheme (and could live with LHD) should add this one to their short list....

The price on RHD 550 Maranellos has really picked-up in the past few months. The Bonhams unit is a good example of this. By the way, what was the estimate?

I am not sure the LHD has reacted in the same way yet. Maybe the exports from Italy in the past couple of years are still weighing on the market.

In any case, I can't think of a car that is better value for money. I don't know if these cars will ever be good investments… but what a car for the money!

Sold for GBP84k including premium. Pretty steep if you ask me. I paid exactly the same for mine, which was same build year and had fewer miles, 7 years ago. My car would be worth 25% less with that mileage now. But I've noticed that low mileage Maranello's are much more expensive in the UK than on the continent.

Onno- Getting expensive in the UK, but then there were only 457 RHD UK models, and some of those have emigrated or have much shorter than OEM wheelbases.

and to confirm your point, Terry, a very similar car / mileage for more than £20K less, and that's only the asking price - LHD.

Terry, I assume that the degree of short-itude depends entirely upon the level of force applied?

Guess I missed the point LOL. Are you referring to fakes or crashes?

Terry, the higher mileage ones are much cheaper than in Europe, so rarity is not the main factor. It just seems that the UK puts a lot more premium on lower mileage.
