Superamerica HGTC vs. Scuderia 16M

Just curious to hear everyone's thoughts - which car is more collectable or likely to hold its value/appreciate, a Superamerica HGTC or a Scuderia 16M (convertible). Both were limited production models 559 examples of the Superamerica vs. 399 of the 16M.

16M run was 499 fast shifts designed by Schumi.

The SA offers more comfort torque and power available with a manual.

Both great cars - I think SA and 16M owners really enjoy their cars.

You can't go wrong with either one - 16M is getting stronger the SA seems to have leveled out.

The two are really not comparable except for numbers produced, 559 and 499, and current price. SAs are appreciating in some markets, like the Barchetta predecessor.

I would guess the SA, because it's a V12.

I like 575 SA but she not had big successful, open is nice but close .... the back side is little bit heavy ....
But would be nice to do a sister like 16M to my HGTC ....
I'm agree with, John .... if i not have other V12 on garage .....
In every case is a hard choise SA Vs 16M
An 575 SA in Monte Carlo .... have a different scent .....

Vman, there were significantly less HGTC SA's than the 559 produced if looking at production numbers. If you wanted to narrow to manual versions significantly less again. No favorite here, just bringing up a point.

Bill- Affirmative, there are only 39 three pedal Superamericas out there, and only 30-40% of SAs were HGTC. No clue how many had both, but a very small number.

I drove an SA for a week or so before getting my 16M. The SA is a more refined cruiser and I would gladly have one. But for me there is nothing like the 16M's stripped out look and that noisy V8 behind you.

A nice choice to be making.

David.
