575 hood

If you remove the hood insulation do the air intake horns remove at the same time or are they detached prior to removal.

David- The image in the workshop manual shows the intake horns attached to the hood itself and the insulation fitting down over the horns. Once the 20 or so fasteners are pulled loose, it looks like the insulation is just pulled down past the horns.

Taz is right, the insulation pulls over the horns. Bit tight but doable, cut some extra radial slits if necessary.
