575 AIRBAG check light

HI guys,
I have a problem with my 575 AIRBAG check light, shortly the history ...
- I bought the car on february and all ok,I turned off and turned on the battery switch every time that I drive, about one times a month.
- on march I removed cats and contemporarly one precat was broken ad the airbag light on (bad day)
- I went to my official ferrari workshop for the restore, they check the electric wires, all ok and they need to replaced the airbag ECU because was the problem.
- I put car in garage and turn off battery switch, after 15 days i turn on the switch, started the engine and .... the aribag lights on!
- I returned to ferrari workshop, after 2 days they told me the the ECU was broken, Ferrari changed in warranty the ECU but in this case they change also the battery, otherwise they want to listen nothing ....
I tell them ok, you make change battery (she had 3 month!)
They told me that is good to NOT turn off the battery switch ....
Ok I obey to they advice.
- I used car all summer and all ok, but last saturday I picked up the car to go to a friend for 5 km,I arrived and turn off key.
when I turn on key and engine started the airbag light was ON !

Crazy .....but otherwise the car is perfect and very enjoy to drive .....

Tomorrow I will re phone at the Ferrari workshop, but I think they not know the problem ....
Anyone had the same problem?

Thanks

Fabio

Fabio- Stop turning off the battery disconnect switch. Every time you do that the Motronic ECUs have to start from scratch and do a relearn of parameters and trimming. That is really only there as a maintenance function and not designed to be used on a regular basis.

Sounds like there may be a loose connector on the airbags or airbag ECU, or a bad connection with the battery. I would check all the battery connectors and ground cables, especially if they just changed the battery.

Terry,
today I spoke with Ferrari workshop, they told me the same thing .... probable cause is an connector that is not has perfect ... They had same problem in one Maserati QP, and long time to find connector ....
Now I use the car in this situation (not much we are in winter...) and in the new year during annual service they will resolve the problem.

Fabio- Hopefully they can find it without too much expense. Good luck.

Is the weather getting cold there, yet? I would think when Egypt is getting snow for the first time in 100 years, it must be cold in Italy, too.

Terry,
if I had tester SD2 I would tried to find failure connector by myself, but I need to go to Ferrari workshop.
By OBD connector is possible to see only the standard parametres, the other parametres are not visible ..... I had tried...
In Italy now is cold also if is not too cold in comparison to december ithe morning -1 C in middle day about 7-9 C, sun and fog.....
How is the weather in Albuquerque now?

Fabio- My house is at 5419'/1650 meters so it has already snowed here three times and we have had 10 F/ -12C a couple of times. Our roads dry very quickly, though, and our snow usually evaporates/sublimates without getting on the roads. So you can drive a Ferrari 12 months of the year. Today it probably hit 55 F/13 C in the afternoon,
