Anyone know this car?

One-owner, low miles
Suspicious of the low price, make me wonder what it needs.
Could the market really be that soft?
I intend to call them and get more details.

Dave, not a TR and no manual clutch?

Are you okay?

Still searching for the elusive replacement for my XJS.
Want a smooth GT cruiser.
It's a toss up between a 456 and a Quatroporte.
Absolutely love the 456, but like the 4 doors of the QP too.
The azzurro is unique. Never seen another like it.

David, it looks clean but also needs some TLC, like destickying, and the passenger air bag cover is bubbling a bit, steering wheel cover looks a bit wonky, and it probably needs the usual sorting that we've been seeing with the 456's and 550's. I've got a PPI checklist I developed for the 550; if you'd like a copy, PM me your email addy and I'll send it to you. Many of the same issues we've found with the 550 apply to the 456.

I think the GTA would be a great alternative to a 3 pedal car. Everyone likes gated shifters, but in heavy traffic they're not much fun, especially when stopping and starting on hills.

'99 550, Rosso Corsa / Nero, S/N:114654, Assy: 31836, Engine: 52084

High mileage, low compression, and missing on a few cylinders.....just like my cars.

Wow, I believe that's grigio alloy...looks wicked (are the Ferrari badges really in gold colour?). What colour is the interior? charcoal or blue scurro? - hard to tell from the pics! I have seen a grigio alloy over blue scurro M for sale at Ferrari Eberlein in Kassel, Germany. Extremely rare colour.

Looks like a bargain for a low miles, 1 owner car! 456M over the 4Porte anytime in my opinion!

I would have a close look at it first, but it's cheap. The steering wheel pad look kinked. Any damage history? Would be a very nice DD.

Probably a trade on a new Mercedes. Surprised they did not wholesale it, but they probably do not have over $35K in her.

That dealer is only about 10 miles from here. It is actually right across the street from one of the machine shops I use. I do not recognize the car but knowing the dealer I don't think they would have it on the lot if they didn't think it was a great car. The demographic of their customer base wouldn't support having any average cars on the lot.

As far as the price, the local demographic is new luxury car territory, not used cars. I bet they lowball all the trades and scrape the cream just to have some on the lot.

Terry, you can bet they lowballed their trade in price. Off line 14 year old car. They probably stole it and figure they can flip it for a few bucks. If it doesn't sell they will either sell or consign to the Maser store around the corner. He moves quite a few used Ferrari's.

I don't see being up that way during the week but I can probably take a ride by next weekend and look at it. My local Harley store is 2 doors down and the new Maser store a friend opened is around the corner.

Disregard, it was sold today.
I didn't figure it would last long.

Just for laughs call these guys and ask if they bought it.

Ask for Mario or Angelo.

Tell them I sent you.

Will call them tomorrow.
I'll let you know what they said.

They have a gorgeous QP for sale, that's my second choice after a 456.
