Wow, all that for a fan belt

If you don't mind sharing, what material did you use to patch the plastic timing cover?

'99 550, Rosso Corsa / Nero, S/N:114654, Assy: 31836, Engine: 52084

High mileage, low compression, and missing on a few cylinders.....just like my cars.

Hi cribbj
I have produced this material.

Wire air conditioning compressor clutch is disconnected fan belt has expired, cover and damaged.
I have found bearing the timing belt pulley from being damaged in the process of repairing them.
And I also found that the water hose is aging.

As a result of consultation to the owner, was asked to be repaired all.

Nice work Jun, and would that patching material also work as an adhesive? Sometimes with these covers, one of the mounting bosses will break off, and it would be very good if there was a material suitable for gluing it back on securely. It's probably wishful thinking that it would work, but it might be worth a try.

Hi Cribbj
This material acts as an adhesive.
The adhesive force is parallel panel bond.
In addition, depending on the type of material to be added, it will be putty.
Cutting is possible after curing.

Hello Akai, what hoses did you use to replace the old radiator hoses? Are they pure silcone? Where can I purchase?

Thanks
